Kugusa — to touch, in Swahili — was born from a simple question: what if the world's most considered sleep engineering was reinterpreted with the materials, the textures and the rhythm of East Africa?
We weave organic cotton in Kisumu. We carve frames in Nairobi. We test fire-rated builds in Mombasa for the lodges of the Mara, the dhows of Lamu and the wards of Kenyatta National Hospital.
